Health care of Brazilian indigenous peoples: Post-implementation of the National Indigenous Health Policy

The objective was to describe, through key points of indigenous health care, what has changed after the implementation National Health Care Policy for Indigenous Peoples. For this, research method chosen literature review with a qualitative approach results. studies that composed sample were retrieved from SciELO and PubMed databases, May August 2018. results point deficiency training professionals Multidisciplinary Team (EMSI) in context interethnic relations; need define functions Agents (IHA) within EMSI; good acceptance by peoples EMSI regarding biomedical traditional treatments, respectively; addition food Information System. That said, there should be trainings scope action IHA clear definition each one’ roles EMSI, especially IHA.
